Thoughts on the "Edward's Outfit" commentary (1)

Hi! Love the site. :)

Not to contradict, but some further commentary. :) If you look at the scenes in the show, Ed's primary outfit at 15/16 is all one outfit with three layers on top (black sleeve-less undershirt, black collared over-jacket, and then the red duster-style coat with the alchemy symbol on it). When he goes to Winry's house to get his automail fixed, the black jacket 'and' his Red one are lying on the couch when Winry is looking at his State Alchemist watch, and he's wearing the sleeveless shirt in the same set of scenes (with his light blue shorts ;) ).

If you look at most scenes, you can see the black under-shirt under the black long-sleeve jacket layer and the red coat (look up around the neck area). Especially since that version of the black jacket is sometimes clasped at the neck, but open the rest of the way down so the under shirt is very visible.

The black jacket in the first episode 'is' different from the one when he's a kid, and the style he wears for the rest of the show, having no visible zipper, but it closes. Of course, that (and that particular red jacket, were both destroyed in the fight with the Chimera.)

So he's got three layers, but if he's got the red jacket on, he's got the other two layers on underneath.

This particular video (not done by me but useful here!) happens to have many of the shots I'm talking about with his outfit for reference. But the various 'pieces' on and off Ed show up in different permutations through-out the show anytime Ed needs his Auto mail worked on or gets an outfit partially destroyed.
